Dropper Loop
Creates a standing loop in the middle of a line for a hook or sinker — the basis of high-low and multi-hook bottom rigs.

How to tie it
- 1Form a loop in the line where you want the dropper.
- 2Wrap the loop around the standing line 5–7 times, keeping an opening in the middle.
- 3Push the loop through that middle opening.
- 4Wet and pull both standing ends to seat the loop so it stands out perpendicular; trim if needed.
Common mistakes
- Loop lies flat instead of standing out
- Too few wraps (slips)
When not to use it
When you want a swiveling dropper (use a three-way swivel instead).
